Kits and Bits

Having nearly accumulated all the bits I need to start building the 014 kits from KBscale, I am ready to try my first etched metal kit. Am going to take my time but as I have done a fair amount of soldering for work in the past I am not so daunted about this, although the white metal stuff bothers me and I am sure that I will turn it into a mass of blobby mess. Anyway we will see.

Hopefully I will have a plan of what to do with these once built. The loco does look a nice build though. and I have some ideas for its use, but more of that later.. In the mean time I have to get one and 'do it' More pics to come once I start. Just need to get some rail and paints and this project can get started.
